Crusaders Fall to Randolph College

The Christendom Crusaders dropped their second game of the season, losing to the Randolph College Wildcats to even their record at 1-1. The Crusaders struggled in the first half to score the basketball, putting up only 11 points and being repeatedly beat in the lane and in transition.

Coming out the second half, however, they looked like a whole new team and played a solid 20 minutes of basketball. They were able to attack the Wildcat defense, getting points in the lane as well as knocking down shots from the outside. Defensively Christendom was able to slow Randolph's pace, and forced them into working a half-court offence rather than allowing transition buckets.

Despite the solid second-half performance, led by Sophomore Patrick Pennefather and Senior Mike McMahon, Christendom came out the losers.

The Crusaders' next game is Saturday, November 19 at 4pm vs Mid-Atlantic Christian University at Crusader Gymnasium.
