Crusaders Fall To #8 Warren Wilson

Despite a tough start to the basketball game last night, the Crusaders managed to reduce #8 Warren Wilson's lead to 15 points, leaving the final score at 88-103. A warm Christendom welcome was also given to Freshman transfer Luke Schultz. Schultz, along with being the lead scorer—putting in 27 points— also lead the team in rebounds, followed by Johnny Echaniz with 16 points, Patrick Pennefather with 14 points and Pete Day with 11 points. Ian Heisler, Michael Urankar, and Day all chipped in 5 assists each.

The Crusaders did well at times adjusting to Warren Wilson's early hot shooting and their "havoc" full court defense, but could never really get the game in reach. (Warren Wilson leads the country in points per game, with 104)

The Crusaders want to thank the community that came to support our men's basketball program.

The Crusaders look to bounce back on Tuesday, January 23 vs #5 Central Penn.
