The Crusaders opened their final home game determined to clutch a victory for their seniors. With back-and-forth buckets from both teams, the game remained close in the beginning of the first half. Although it took time, the Crusaders eventually found their rhythm on the court. Multiple blocks from big man John Kennedy (Sophomore/ Mount Vision, NY) gave the team momentum. The Crusaders continued to control the remainder of the first half thanks to Joe Curran (Freshman/Manassas, VA) who was a great asset from behind the three-point line. With less than two minutes remaining in the first, Josh Pabst (Freshman/Mesa, AZ) added to the Crusaders lead with a three-pointer. The final score of the first half was 54-26, the Crusaders over Patrick Henry.

The guys came out strong to start the second half, as they continued to dominate play on both sides of the ball. Andrew Heisler (Junior/Front Royal, VA) made a shot from deep to extend the lead to over 30 points. The Crusaders controlled the remainder of the match, highlighting their work as a team. With less than 5 minutes remaining, a steal from senior Dominic Smith (Senior/Manassas, VA) led to a layup by his fellow senior Joe Dotson (Senior/Manassas, VA), a very special moment as the two seniors combined for an exciting bucket. As time expired the Crusaders led, 96-54, giving the team the victory over Patrick Henry.

Christendom's Seniors contributed greatly to the game. Dotson was a leader in the game with a total of 14 points. Smith led the team with a total of 9 rebounds. These seniors have been amazing assets to the team, and in particular, in their victory against Patrick Henry.
