Facing a familiar opponent in VMI, the Crusaders came into the Bowl Final determined to finish strong. VMI struck first, finding the try zone early to take a 5-0 lead, a scoreline that would hold through a tense and physical first half.

Coming out of the halftime break, VMI seized momentum, capitalizing on two more opportunities to stretch their lead to 17-0. Despite the deficit, Christendom continued to battle, and Jude Burkett broke through late in the match to score and convert a try, trimming the lead to 17-7. However, the Crusaders could not find another breakthrough before time expired, and VMI claimed the Bowl Final victory.

Season Reflection:

This result brings an end to another strong campaign for Christendom Rugby. With yet another National Tournament appearance—extending the program's streak as the longest in NCR DIII history—the Crusaders once again proved they are a fixture at the national level.

The team finishes the 2025 7's season with an impressive 23-11-2 record, highlighted by perseverance, comeback wins, and the unrelenting spirit that has become the program's trademark.
