Front Royal, VA- This past Tuesday, October 26, Crusader Men's Soccer took on Patrick Henry in their final game of the season. The Crusaders brought home the 7-1 win in the contest. Tuesday was also senior night for seven of our Crusaders. Shoutout to Nicholas Foeckler, Santiago Pardo Gasque, Daniel Duca, Pablo Boada, Aganze Nkere, Mark LaRochelle, and Brian Hicks for a great Crusader career!

Santiago Pardo Gasque(Senior/Mexico City, MX) had a very impressive final collegiate game. Within the first 36 mins. of the game, Pardo had scored twice giving the Crusaders an early 2-0 lead. Patrick Henry stepped up the defense as they marked Pardo much closer the rest of the half.  However, the second half brought more glory for Pardo, and just four minutes into the second half he scored his third goal of the game, giving him a Senior Day hattrick! Pardo's third goal was assisted by Mark LaRochelle(Senior/Napa, CA).  Although already having a hattrick, Pardo was not done scoring, and less than one-minute later he put away his fourth goal of the game! Freshman, Sean Corcoran(Lawrence, NJ) scored the teams fifth goal on, one another assist by LaRochelle! Four minutes later and Nicholas Foeckler(Senior/Manassas, VA) scored his first goal of the season and the teams sixth with, yet again, another assist from LaRochelle. Patrick Henry managed to get passed the strong Crusader defense and score their first and only goal at minute sixty-seven. To end the game, LaRochelle scored the final goal assisted by Freshman, Mark Taylor(Springfield, VA)

Congratulations to the 7 Seniors, thank you for 4 great years of Crusader Soccer!
