Men's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule
Front Royal, VA — The Christendom College Men's Soccer team has released its 2025 schedule, a 17-match campaign filled with key conference clashes, regional rivalries, and postseason implications. With a balanced blend of experience and youth, the Crusaders are preparing to bounce back in a big way and reestablish themselves as contenders in the USCAA and ESAC.
The season begins August 30 on the road at PSU Mont Alto, followed by a September 3 conference test at Central Penn. Christendom returns to Crusader Fields on September 6 for its home opener against Williamson College, the start of a six-match homestand that includes matchups with Patrick Henry (Sept. 9), Bucks County (Sept. 13), Regent (Sept. 18), Central Penn (Sept. 20), and a rematch against PSU Mont Alto (Sept. 27).
October brings critical road fixtures, including back-to-back away days at PSU New Kensington (Sept. 30) and PSU York (Oct. 1) before the Crusaders host PSU Greater Allegheny (Oct. 4). The road grind continues with games at Patrick Henry (Oct. 7) and Manor (Oct. 11), ahead of the final two home matches: PSU New Kensington (Oct. 15) and Manor (Oct. 18).
The regular season wraps up with a challenging weekend road swing against Williamson (Oct. 24) and Bucks County (Oct. 25), both of which could play a pivotal role in playoff seeding.
Season Outlook
With the memory of a rebuilding 2024 season in the rearview, the 2025 Crusaders return with newfound chemistry, rising leadership, and postseason ambition. The roster features a strong group of second-year players now seasoned by experience, and an upperclassman leader ready to guide them.
The midfield will be orchestrated by rising senior Niall Maguire, a 2024 ESAC All-Conference selection whose control, distribution, and leadership make him the engine of the team. His ability to set the tempo will be vital to the Crusaders' style of play.
Up front, rising sophomore Tim Sheedy returns as a dangerous threat in the final third. After flashes of promise in his freshman season, Sheedy is expected to become a central piece of the Crusaders' attack.
In goal, Lucas Boada and Michael Vander Woude—both rising sophomores—offer depth and competition in net after gaining valuable playing time last fall. Their continued development will be key in anchoring the defense.
Coaches Mark LaRochelle and Daniel Duca return to the helm of Christendom Soccer looking to guide this team to new heights over the course of the season.
