Crusaders Sweep Shock at Home

Front Royal, VA– Christendom Crusaders Volleyball was victorious over Washington Adventist University in their Home game on Tuesday, 10/11 winning the match 3-0. 

The Crusaders and Washington Adventist both brought aggression immediately to the game, but the Crusaders were dominant. Christendom won the first set with a strong lead of 25-16. The second match was tight with Washington Adventist fighting to even the match. They were not able to do so, and the Crusaders were victorious in overtime, winning the set 31-29. The Crusaders again dominated in the third set winning 25-19. Despite a fight from Washington Adventist, the Crusaders played an aggressive game and were able to shut out their opponent 3-0. Crusader Nora Ross (Freshman/Tulsa, OK) led the team with 18 kills and 19.0 points. Following Ross, Catherine Brezinsky (Sophomore/Montrose, CO) was a game leader with a total of 7 kills and 8.0 points. Fiona Briggs (Senior/Front Royal, VA) led the team defensively with 28 digs. 

Next Up: Crusader Volleyball will play the Appalachian Bible Warriors at home on Friday, October 14th at 6pm.
