Crusader Volleyball Season Recap

Christendom Crusader Volleyball had a successful 2022 season finishing with a 0.500 record at 11-11. The Crusaders had many impressive games as well as memorable victories. In the beginning of the season, the Crusaders came out strong sweeping both Penn State Beaver and Regent University 3-0 in September matches. With these dominate wins, the ladies gained momentum to continue with a strong season. The Crusaders finished their season with great victories. On Senior night, they dominated Trinity 3-0. To end their season, the Crusaders won the Conference Championship with a 3-0 victory against Mid Atlantic Christian in a remarkable match. The team had several leaders in stats this year. Senior Fiona Briggs (Senior/Front Royal, VA) led the team with 380 digs. Crusader's Claire Mense (Senior/Lakeland, FL) led the team with a total of 478 assists. Freshman Nora Ross (Freshman/Tulsa, OK) led both the Crusaders stats, as well as the USCAA stats, for most kills in the season at 334. Following Ross, Catherine Brezinsky (Sophomore/Montrose, CO) came in second for kills with a total of 124 in the season. Overall, Crusader volleyball had a remarkable season as a team and individually.
