Crusaders Have Impressive Race at Golden Acorn Invitational

Staunton, VA- Crusaders Cross Country hit the paths at Mary Baldwin this past Friday, 10/7 to race in the Golden Acorn Invitational.

The Women were off and running in their 6k race. The team ran very well as they finished in 2nd out of four teams, the team finished the day with an average time of 26:13. Margaret Kolesar (Senior/ Cranberry, PA) led the way for the Crusaders as she finished 4th overall. Susanna O'Herron (Freshman/ Waynesboro, GA) finished just behind Kolesar, coming in 5th with a 25:36 time. The top 5 Crusaders all finished in the top 10. Shortly after the Women finished, the Men's Team was off and running for their 6k race.  Joseph Ellefson (Senior/ Gallup, NM) led the way for the guys as he finished 4th out of 18 runners. Ellefson finished his 6k with a time of 20:23.
