Cross Country Takes Second Overall for Men and Women in PSU Fayette Meet

Lemont Furnace, PA- The Christendom Cross Country team took Second Overall in both the Men's and Women's Meets from Saturday's Meet at Penn State Fayette. Alexander Girata (Junior) excelled, finishing in first place in the men's meet with a time of 30:35 in the 8k race.

In the Women's 6k race, three Crusaders finished in the top-10. Mary Noble (Senior) finished 3rd overall with a time of 27:58. Elizabeth Kolesar (Sophomore) finished 4th overall with a time of 29:54. And Jazdia Hamm (Freshman) finished 8th overall with a time of 33:05. 

The meet served as great practice for the Crusaders as well, as they will be returning to this same course for the USCAA National Championship Meet.
