Christendom Hires Jim Bell as Head Softball Coach
Christendom College Director of Athletics Patrick Quest has announced that Jim Bell has been named the next Head Softball Coach.
Bell joins Christendom with extensive experience at both the high school and travel softball levels. Most recently, he served on the coaching staff at Briar Woods High School, holding roles as both an assistant and head coach. In addition to his work at the high school level, Bell has spent six years coaching travel softball in Loudoun County, helping to develop and produce numerous collegiate student-athletes across all levels.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Bell to the Christendom family," said Quest. "His experience, energy, and commitment to both the development of his athletes and the mission of the college make him a tremendous fit for our program and our community."
Bell holds national certifications in Strength and Conditioning as well as Level 1 and Level 2 certifications through USA Weightlifting. His training background complements his passion for recruiting, scouting, and player development, bringing a well-rounded and data-informed approach to the game.
A firm believer in game analytics, Bell emphasizes conditioning, fundamentals, and team unity as cornerstones of a successful program. He is equally committed to his players' success off the field, aiming to foster academic excellence and build a culture that reflects and advances the mission of Christendom College and its Athletic Department.
Coach Bell will begin his duties immediately as he prepares the Crusaders for the upcoming season.
