Come from Behind Victory Lifts Men’s Soccer on the Road, 4-3

MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Penn State Greater Allegheny Men's Soccer team secured a thrilling 4-3 come-from-behind victory against Christendom on Friday, with Max Whitson leading the charge by scoring a hat-trick.

The game began with Christendom taking an early lead as Tim Sheedy scored in the 20th minute, followed by Joshua Cruz's goal just before halftime, putting Christendom up 2-1 at the break. Michael Damoah scored the lone first-half goal for Greater Allegheny in the 35th minute.

Whitson then took over in the second half, scoring three goals in a 20-minute span to turn the game around. His first goal came in the 55th minute, followed by another quick strike just three minutes later. Whitson completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute, securing the comeback victory. Christendom's Isaias Odiatu pulled one back in the 80th minute, but Greater Allegheny held on for the win.

Goalkeeper Kayden Gelb recorded two crucial saves, helping the team maintain their lead in the closing moments. The victory improves Penn State Greater Allegheny's record, highlighting their resilience and teamwork on the road.
