Crusaders Fall to St. Andrew's University

In the first game of their spring break road trip, the Crusaders fell to the St. Andrew's University Knights 15-5 in five innings. Although the Crusaders jumped ahead early with a run in the first inning, the Knights came back with one run in the bottom half of the first inning, followed by six runs in the second off of Crusaders starting pitcher Josh Wilson. The Crusaders stayed in the game with three runs in the third inning and a run in the fourth, before the Knights blew the game open with eight runs in their half of the fourth inning, and the game ended in the fifth inning by the ten run rule. Freshman Caleb Wilson led the offense for the Crusaders, with one hit and three RBIs. Sophomore Ian Heisler also had two hits, a walk, and scored a run.
