Game 1: Centurions Jump Ahead Early, Blank Crusaders 9–0
Bucks County struck early and often in Game 1, plating five runs in the bottom of the first and never looking back en route to a 9-0 shutout win. Christendom's pitching staff struggled to find the strike zone, issuing 11 walks across six innings.
Edmund Thomas got the start for the Crusaders but was lifted after two-thirds of an inning, surrendering five runs on just one hit while walking five. Will Coleman provided length out of the bullpen, tossing 3.1 innings in relief. He struck out five but continued to battle control issues, issuing six free passes.
At the plate, Christendom was held in check by Bucks County's arms, managing only two hits — one each from Matt O'Hara and Joe Romero. Despite the offensive drought, the Crusaders played clean defense, with no errors in the field. Catcher Peter Sullivan anchored the defense, recording a team-high eight putouts.
Game 2: Crusaders Show Fight, But Fall 7–2
Game 2 saw a more competitive effort from Christendom, who outhit Bucks County 8–7 but couldn't capitalize on their chances in a 7–2 defeat.
Luke Roman drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning to tie the game at 1–1, and the Crusaders stayed within striking distance until the later innings. Joe Romero started on the hill and pitched into the sixth, allowing six earned runs while striking out four.
Gus Coleman, Matt O'Hara, and Rowland Thornberry each collected two hits in the loss, with Roman tallying the team's only RBI. Despite generating traffic on the basepaths, the Crusaders struggled to convert opportunities into runs.
Christendom will look to regroup and bounce back in their next matchup as they continue to push through the back half of their schedule.
