Season Outlook
With all but one player returning from last season, the Crusaders bring back one of the most experienced and productive lineups in the conference. Junior Paul Amuso (.382 batting average) and senior Gus Coleman (.345 batting average, 37 RBI) headline the roster after earning Honorable Mention All-American recognition last season. Junior Joe Romero also returns after an outstanding year at the plate, hitting .369 with 36 RBI, providing consistent run production in the heart of the order.
Sophomore Rowland Thornberry adds power and depth after driving in 22 runs with three home runs as a freshman, while senior catcher Peter Sullivan returns healthy after recording 16 RBI despite missing half of last season due to injury. With strong leadership, offensive firepower, and familiarity with Coach Amuso's system, Christendom enters the season poised for another competitive campaign and a push toward postseason contention.
