Crusaders Shutout Washington & Lee for Second Win of the Year

Lexington, VA – Christendom Crusaders Rugby Team picked up their second win on the year with a 29-0 shutout victory over Washington & Lee. 

The Crusaders opened up the scoring with a try from Chris Santschi (Senior/Manassas, VA) and the Crusaders didn't look back. The Crusaders proceeded to carry the momentum throughout the entire game, with tries from Fionn Bauer (Freshman/Innsbruck, Austria), a second try from Santschi, Jude Burkett (Senior/Emlenton, PA), and a third try for Santschi on a penalty try to give him a hat trick on the day. 

Up Next: Crusader Rugby will host #8 VMI at 1pm in a conference matchup on Saturday 10/12.
