Men's Soccer Gains Another Win Over Parents Weekend

Christendom College played Appalachian Bible College Friday night at Crusader fields. In the beginning of the first half after the ball was crossed in front of the goal, the ball fell to Sophomore James Miller who volleyed the ball which hit the back of the net. Not soon after, Senior Sean Salmon passed the ball to his younger brother James who beat the last defender and had an easy shot on goal to take a 2-0 lead. James ended with three goals, and giving him his third hat trick of the year.  The first half ended with the Crusaders in the lead 4-0.

The second half began and the first goal came from an Appalachian Bible forward.  The Crusaders answered with a few one touch passes in the box, giving senior midfielder Peter Blank a shot and his first goal of the year. Freshman Peter Day score the Crusaders sixth goal of the game from a pass coming from Stephen Foeckler. The Crusaders won 6-2. The next big game is against Potomac State College of WVU on Wednesday the 23rd.
