Crusader Runner Finishes Top Five in Opening Race
Bridgewater, VA- Crusader Scholar Athlete, Joseph Ellefson(Junior, Gallup, NM) finished top 5 in the team’s opening race. Ellefson, finished the race 4th, an impressive feat considering he was competing against 44 other runners.

Bridgewater, VA- Crusader Scholar Athlete, Joseph Ellefson(Junior, Gallup, NM) finished top 5 in the team's opening race. Ellefson, finished the race 4th, an impressive feat considering he was competing against 44 other runners.
The Men's Cross-Country team finished the race in third place out of four teams, defeating Mary Baldwin, but falling to Bridgewater and Roanoke.
The Women's team put up a good fight, Margaret Kolesar(Junior, Cranberry, PA) leading the Lady Saders, as she finished 28th out of 57 racers.
Crusaders Cross-Country returns to action Saturday, 9/18, as they travel to Garret College for the Laker Invitational.
