On a beautiful Spring day, the Lady Crusaders beat Valley Forge on Saturday 8-6. The Lady Crusaders strung together multiple hits and scored 6 runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead. During the game, Margaret Speer had 4 stolen bases, and 6 Crusader players contributed RBIs. Becca Byrne took the mound, pitching all 7 innings and allowed 13 hits and 6 runs, while earning the W.
In the second game, Christendom got another victory against Valley Forge. Sophie Gordon led the Crusader offense with 3 hits and 5 RBIs. Sofia Skuba had 5 stolen bases and 3 runs. Sophie Adams pitched 3.1 innings giving up Valley Forge's 6 earned runs of the game. Becca Byrne pitched the remaining 1.2 innings allowing only 1 hit and no runs. The game ended, 14-6 in favor of the Crusaders.
