Lady Crusaders Release 2025 Schedule, Aim for Third Straight National Title
Front Royal, Va. – The Christendom College women's basketball team has announced its 2025-2026 schedule as the Lady Crusaders prepare to pursue a historic third consecutive title.
The season tips off November 20 at Patrick Henry, followed by another road contest at Notre Dame of Maryland (Nov. 22) and the home opener against Penn State York (Nov. 25). Moving onto December, the Lady Crusaders have another pair of road games in Virginia at Mary Baldwin (Dec. 2) and Apprentice (Dec. 6). They then host their annual Jingle Jam Game against Central Penn on December 10 and close out the semester with a December 20 matchup at Regent.
Christendom opens the second semester on the road again at Trinity Washington (Jan. 15), Bucks County (Jan. 17), and Washington Adventist (Jan. 20). Then the Lady Crusaders enter a home stretch against Patrick Henry (Jan. 22), Apprentice (Jan. 24), and Regent (Jan. 28). Following the home stretch, they have two games on the road against Penn State York (Jan. 31) and Penn State Mont Alto (Feb. 3) The remainder of February features key home contests against Washington Adventist (Feb. 9), Trinity (Feb. 11), and Bucks County (Feb. 21). The regular season will come to a close against Allegany College in Maryland on February 23, before postseason play begins for the Lady Crusaders.
Season Outlook
Despite graduating four key seniors, Christendom returns a strong core led by Mary Pennefather, the reigning USCAA Tournament MVP and First Team All-American. She is joined by fellow juniors Libby Kolesar, Audrey Speier, and Serena Keller. Sophomores Georgie Snyder, and Grace Hatley also return to the squad. A talented freshman class will add depth and energy as the Lady Crusaders look to extend their championship tradition.
