Crusaders Dominate on the Road
Washington, D.C. — Christendom Women's Basketball delivered a commanding performance on the road Saturday afternoon, rolling past Trinity Washington, 84–25, behind stifling defense and efficient offensive execution throughout all four quarters.
The Crusaders set the tone immediately, limiting Trinity to just three first-quarter points while building a 16–3 leadthrough aggressive defense and balanced scoring. Christendom continued to control the tempo in the second quarter, extending the margin to 38–11 at halftime with strong ball movement and consistent pressure on both ends of the floor.
Christendom maintained its dominance after the break, holding Trinity to six points in the third quarter while pushing the advantage to 55–17. The Crusaders closed the contest with another decisive frame, finishing the night with an 84–25 victory.
Georgie Snyder led Christendom with an efficient shooting performance, scoring 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while adding five rebounds and four assists. Mary Pennefather posted a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four assists, and Lucy Pennefather contributed 20 points, eight rebounds, and three steals to anchor the Crusaders on both ends of the floor.
Up Next: With the win, Christendom continues to build momentum, moving to a 4-2 record on the year. They will take on Washington Adventist on Tuesday, January 20.
