The Lady Crusaders traveled to take on the Washington Adventist University Wednesday, October 7th.

The Lady Crusaders started out strong at the beginning of the first half taking several shots on goal, two of which were off the post. However, the match took a rough turn as Washington Adventist netted their first goal. The home team continued to dominate the rest of the game, creating several goal scoring opportunities for themselves and overcoming the Christendom midfield every time. Washington Adventist ended up scoring 5 goals, 2 of which were inadvertently kicked in by the Crusaders as they scuffled for the ball.

The day wasn’t a total loss as Christendom Junior Anne Nelson was able to squeeze in one goal via a free kick outside the box.  Overall, not the best night for the Lady Crusaders but they will look to improve in their next match against Patrick Henry College at home, Saturday, October 10th.
