The Lady Crusaders battled Washington Adventist at home on Monday, September 14th. Washington Adventist was sure to be a tough match for them as they have always been in the past. The Lady Crusaders however, were always able to pull through with a win.
During Monday's game, the Lady Crusaders, fighting hard to get a goal, brought the score to 1-0 with a beautiful finish from Sophomore Catherine Gaetano off of a corner kick from Junior, Anne Nelson. Then towards the end of the first half, a second goal was scored by Sophomore Emily Weichert. In the second half, Washington Adventist quickly regained the field, scoring two goals and ending the game in a 2-2 tie.
The Lady Crusaders were definitely met with a worthy opponent in their game against Washington Adventist on Monday night, but are still holding onto their undefeated streak this season.
