The Lady Crusaders soccer team had their second and final preseason game against Penn State Mont Alto on Tuesday, August 30th.
In the first half, they came out strong creating several opportunities to score but were only able to manage 1 goal by Gemma Youngman, bringing the score to 1-0 at halftime.
They continued to play strong in the second half, constantly penetrating the the Penn State defensive line with the success of five more goals from Gemma Youngman, Catherine Gaetano, Mary-Grace Handy, Caelan Burgess and Anne Nelson. The Lady Crusaders' defensive line was consistent in shutting down Penn State Mont Alto's offensive attack.
The final score was 6-0, the Lady Crusader's first win at home! They will next head to Alfred St., NY on Saturday, September 10th for their first season game.
