For Parent's Weekend, the Lady Crusaders took on Patrick Henry College at home on Saturday September 24th.
After coming off of a 12-0 shutout of a young, but improving Patrick Henry team the week prior, the Lady Crusaders were determined to take care of business again this time; especially at home. The Lady Crusaders dominated the game allowing no shots on goal and taking 26 shots on goal. The score was 6-0 at half time with a hat trick from Caelan Burgess, and 3 more goals delivered by Monica Wilson (1) and Catherine Gaetano (2).
In the second half, two more goals by Gemma Youngman found the back of the net for a final score of 8-0. Abby Gaus assisted on two of the goals, Bridget Handy assisted on one of the goals, and Emily Weichert assisted on another.
The Lady Crusaders will go on the road to DC on Monday, September 26th to challenge Trinity College at 4:30pm.
