Front Royal, VA- The Lady Crusaders defeated Patrick Henry College last Wednesday September 8th, by a whopping score of 8-0.

Christine McLaughlin(Junior) lead the way for the Saders, as she buried a shot within the first four minutes of the game. McLaughlin continued to shine through the game, as she racked up five goals in the contest, making that eight goals in just two games for the Crusader's star striker. Patrick Henry battled hard for the next 30 minutes, keeping the match 1-0. However, with 15 minutes left in the half the Crusaders turned on the jets. Rachel Grande(Sophomore) scored the Crusader's second goal, then just one minute latter Grande crossed the ball to Colleen Kosten(Freshman), who one touched the ball into the back of the net, making it 3-0. McLaughlin then put two more in before half. The Saders scoring four goals in 15 minutes and taking a 5-0 advantage into the half.

Forty-Five minutes back on the clock and the Saders came out hot. McLaughlin scored the sixth and seventh goal of the game within the first five minutes. The final Crusader goal came off the foot of Miranda Keller(Freshman) as she received the ball off a free kick. Turning and shotting, Keller beautifully placed the ball in the bottom corner of the goal. Congratulations to the Women's Soccer Team as they improve to 2-0 on the season!
