Washington, D.C.- The Christendom College Lady Crusaders extended their strong early-season form on Wednesday afternoon, delivering a decisive 12–0 win on the road against Trinity Washington University.
Christendom set the tone early, storming to an 8–0 lead by halftime through relentless offensive pressure, sharp ball movement, and disciplined midfield play. The momentum carried into the second half, where the Crusaders added four more goals to complete the shutout.
Isabella Rodriguez spearheaded the attack with a well-taken hat trick, continuing her impressive scoring run and showcasing her clinical finishing. Grace Hatley matched the performance with three goals of her own, consistently breaking through the Trinity defense and capitalizing on chances.
Megan Lovar and Ava Hudson each tallied two goals, with Lovar demonstrating strong link-up play and Hudson using her pace and control to create space in the final third. Maddie Lee and Theresa Hambleton added one goal apiece, rounding out a balanced and dynamic offensive performance.
The defensive unit proved equally effective, holding Trinity to just one shot on target and maintaining composure throughout the match. The clean sheet adds to an already strong defensive record as the Crusaders continue to build momentum in USCAA play.
With this victory, the Lady Crusaders further solidify their position as a top contender in the USCAA Division II standings, after being ranked #2 in the USCAA preseason poll.
