Front Royal, VA – Crusader Volleyball earned a dominant victory over the Trinity University Tigers on Wednesday, October 12, defeating their opponent 3-0.
The Crusader offense began clicking early, gaining a lead in the first set and never looking back. After winning the first set 25-12, the Crusader defense played very well during the second set, limiting the Tigers to only 3 points and allowing the offense to go on long scoring runs. Finally, during the third set, the Crusaders were victorious 25-8.
Nora Ross (Sophomore/Tulsa, OK) lead the team with 11 kills, followed by Adrienne McShurley (Junior/Linden, VA) with 7 kills. Regina Cousino (Sophomore/Ann Arbor, MI) played an excellent game, with 24 assists and an incredible 9 aces.
