Bio

Michaela Pennefather was named Head Coach of the Christendom Volleyball team ahead of the 2024 season. 

Before coming to Christendom, Pennefather spent time coaching at the high school level at Chelsea Academy. 

Pennefather comes to this position as one of the most decorated volleyball players in Christendom’s history. She currently holds the career record for kills, with 1,057 in her four years. She also had an impressive 217 career blocks. Pennefather was a two time USCAA All-American, being named a First-Team All-American in 2018 and a Second-Team All-American in 2019. 

Coach Pennefather was also a member of the team that made it all the way to the 2018 USCAA National Tournament Championship Game. That season, they also won the CCBC Essex Tournament, where she was an all-tournament selection.
