  • Handy and Adams Named USCAA All-Americans

    The USCAA named two Christendom students to their All-American softball team this past week, making Christendom one of only a handful of schools to have more than one student selected this year.
  • Seniors Sent Off With Sports Banquet

    On May 2nd, the athletics department held its annual end-of-year sports banquet.  At the banquet, the athletics department honored our graduating seniors with personal plaques commemorating their years of participation in Christendom varsity sports, as well as honoring Sophomore Ian Heisler with his USCAA Player of the Week Award for his no-hitter thrown on March 3rd.
  • Lady Crusaders End Season With Losses to Washington Adventist

    In the first game of the double-header, Christendom fell to Washington Adventist on Sunday 17-4. The Crusader offense struggled against Washington Adventist’s pitcher, Aliyah Stone, who only gave up 5 hits.
  • Lady Crusaders Crush Northern Virginia

    The Lady Crusaders defeated Northern Virginia Community College 27-4 in 5 innings on Friday afternoon. Christendom’s offense was hot and put together 21 hits in their 35 total at bats. Sophie Adams was 5-5 including 2 doubles, a triple, and a grand slam;

  • Lady Crusaders Sweep Valley Forge

    On a beautiful Spring day, the Lady Crusaders beat Valley Forge on Saturday 8-6. The Lady Crusaders strung together multiple hits and scored 6 runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead.
  • Lady Crusaders Fall to Penn State Schuylkill

    The Lady Crusaders lost to Penn State Schuylkill on Sunday 16-3. Penn State's Danielle Lilly had 4 RBIs and their pitcher, Cara Brennan, allowed only 4 hits to the 24 batters she faced. Christendom's Becca Byrne pitched 4 innings, giving up 21 hits and 13 earned runs.
  • Lady Crusaders Get First Wins Against Valley Forge

    The Lady Crusaders got their first win of the season on Saturday at Valley Forge. They rallied in the top of the 2 nd inning to score 20 runs. Annemarie Speer led the Crusaders with 4 RBIs followed by Becca Byrne and Sophie Gordon who each had 3. Becca Byrne got the win, pitching 5 innings, allowing 7 hits and 6 earned runs.
  • Lady Crusaders Swept by Washington Adventist

    The Lady Crusaders traveled to Washington Adventist University on Thursday. They fell to the Shock 7-1 in the first game of their double header. Annemarie Speer batted in the one Crusader run of the game. WAU's Courtney Jenkins led the Shock’s offense with 5 RBIs
  • Lady Crusaders Open Season With Losses to Cairn University

    On a very cold and windy afternoon, the Lady Crusaders took on Cairn University in a double header. The Sophomores stole the show with Margaret Speer, Sofia Skuba, and Rebecca Byrne all having two hits a piece. Byrne also battled the wind and cold and pitched the entire game.
