The Lady Crusaders celebrated Senior Day today with a win over Patrick Henry College. The three seniors, Bryn Burgess, Sylvia Messing, and Libby Peterson all played important roles in the game. Bryn led the team with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 steals. Sylvia chipped in 9 points, 13 rebounds, and some tough defense. Libby put in 9 points and 4 assists. Along with these seniors, others stepped up throughout the games too. Dylan Burgess put in 16 points and 8 rebounds, Grace Nyman was active on both ends of the floor adding 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 steals. The Lady Crusaders' defense contributed to the victory with 18 steals and 24 defensive rebounds, holding Patrick Henry to 3 points in the 4th quarter. The final score was 78-23 in favor of Christendom bringing their record to 4-10.
The Lady Crusaders will head to Central Penn on Monday, February 12 looking to extend their winning streak.
