Catherine Thomas Named USCAA Women's DII Basketball Player of the Week

Catherine Thomas (Junior/ Portland, TX) was named the USCAA DII women's basketball player of the week this past Tuesday, February 20^th. Thomas was awarded Player of the Week due to her stellar play against two key USCAA opponents. On February 15^th in a game against Central Penn, Thomas finished with 27 points, 20 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 2 assists. Then on February 17^th in a game against USCAA DI Apprentice, Thomas finished with 37 points, 6 three-pointers, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals.  This outstanding play by Thomas led to her receiving the USCAA Player of the Week award.
