Women's Volleyball Fights to the End Against Fierce Rivals

This week the Crusaders' Volleyball team took on one of their strongest rivals, Penn State Mont Alto.  Historically always an impressive team, Penn State came in ready for another win against the Crusaders.

Christendom started out strong, with a five point serving run by Freshman setter, Johna Fackler. Penn State overcame this early deficit to take the first game 25-17, and followed with a strong second game, 25-16.  The Lady Crusaders then picked up the pace, and in an intense third game, were able to surprise Penn State with a comeback win, 25-22.  However, they came up short in the fourth, and Penn State ended up taking back the match, 3-1.

Ready to shake this loss, the Crusaders look forward to their next game this Thursday, at Washington Adventist.
