Front Royal, VA – The Christendom College baseball team continues to add to their record with a win against a tough competitor, the Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions, 6-2. The Crusaders also ended up with a loss in the second game of this double header, 12-9. Their current record holds at 4-2, giving them an impressive 0.667-win percentage.

Front Royal, VA – The Christendom College baseball team captured their first 3-1 start in Christendom baseball history with back-to-back wins in a double header against the Kent State Tuscarawas. The Crusaders were victorious in the first game 4-2 and 12-11 in a close second game.

Christendom Crusaders baseball and softball players were recognized by the USCAA for athletic and academic success. The USCAA announced the All-American and All-Academic baseball and softball teams this past Sunday, May 12.

Paul Amuso, a senior from Gainesville, VA, signed his letter of intent to play baseball for the Christendom Crusaders on Friday, May 19. Paul, a pitcher, and shortstop, played for the John Paul the Great Catholic HS Wolves this past year. His quality pitching played a key role in the Wolves’ success.
George Storey, a senior from Manassas, VA, signed his letter of intent to play baseball for the Christendom Crusaders this past Tuesday, April 25. George, who plays mid-infield and has a very smooth swing, attends Holy Family Academy. The Crusaders are very excited to have George on the field next season playing for the Christendom. Congratulations to George and the whole Storey family on the signing!

The Crusaders took on the MACU Mustangs in their season finale this past Wednesday, 4/26, in an exciting double header. After dropping the first game in a tough fight the Crusaders bounced back, coming out victorious in game two.

The Crusaders traveled to PA this past Saturday, 4/22, where they took on Williamson Free Trade in a two-game series. The team was able to secure two wins, as they defeated Williamson 9-8 and 10-5 on the day.

Joseph Romero, a senior from Valley Center, CA, signed his letter of intent to play baseball for the Christendom Crusaders this past Monday, April 10. Joseph, a pitcher and outfielder, attends St. Joseph Academy. He is helping lead the baseball team this season with his quality performance on the mound. The Crusaders are very excited to have Joseph on the diamond next season. Congratulations to Joseph and the whole Romero family on the signing!
