    Christendom rugby is headed back to the Collegiate Rugby National 7s Tournament, defeating Franciscan University of Steubenville 33-27 in a National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) qualifier tournament over the weekend. This will be Christendom’s seventh-straight trip to the big dance as they look for their third National Title.
  • Christendom Rugby Player Named National All-American

    Christendom rugby star John Kennedy was named an All-American by National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) this week, putting him into an elite field of the best collegiate rugby players in the nation. Kennedy, who plays second row for Christendom, was recognized after another terrific rugby 15s season, where he helped lead the team to the National Collegiate Rugby Sweet Sixteen.
  • Christendom Rugby Ends 15s Season 6-3-1

    Christendom Crusaders Rugby 15’s had another successful season with a record of 6-3-1. In their first game of the season, the Crusaders were victorious 37-34 after a tough fight against their familiar rival the Franciscan University Barons in their annual Shield Match.

    Christendom rugby punched their ticket to the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) National Championship Sweet Sixteen Tournament over the weekend, defeating Susquehanna 28-18 in a regional playoffs play-in game.
  • Crusaders Win Big vs Washington and Lee

    The Christendom Crusader Rugby team dominated Washington and Lee 72-11 in a home match on September 30th. As the game began, the Crusaders came on top first 3-0, with a penalty kick by Frank Woltering (Freshman). Christendom continued to play an aggressive game and put in the first try of the game. The Washington and Lee Screaming Minks responded by gaining 3 points off a penalty kick. Following the kick, the Crusaders offense gained incredible momentum. Chris Santschi (Junior) scored back-to-back tries. Santschi’s tries were followed by three more from Christendom’s offense, as well as multiple conversions. The first half came to a close with a score of 46-3, the Crusaders dominating their opponent.

    Christendom Rugby is back. The Crusaders returned to the pitch on Saturday to take on Franciscan University of Steubenville in the annual Shield Match, defeating the Barons in a 37-34 thriller. Meanwhile, the men’s soccer team picked up their first three wins of the season, including in a rousing home opener on Tuesday, the women’s soccer team remained undefeated with a crushing defeat of Penn State Beaver, and the women’s volleyball team went 1-2 in the USCAA Penn State Beaver Tournament.

    Christendom College will welcome back alumni and friends of Christendom for the fourteenth annual Thomas S. Vander Woude Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, October 9. The event, held this year at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Front Royal, Virginia, raises funds for the Thomas S. Vander Woude Memorial Scholarship, which supports student-athletes at Christendom each year.
