The team, coming off one of the best seasons in program history, earned their second trip to the USCAA DII National Championship Tournament, as announced by the organization on Monday, March 4. They will travel to Petersburg, Virginia, for the tournament on March 9, aiming for a shot at the National Championship game.

Christendom Crusaders women’s basketball (20-5) picked up a big 84-51 ESAC win over the Central Penn Knights (8-13), improving their record to 20-5 on the season.
On January 31, 2024, the Lady Crusaders defeated the Frederick Community College Cougars to a tune of 77-43. Both teams came out strong in the first quarter, and the Cougars scored the first bucket of the game.
Christendom College Women’s Basketball responded to back-to-back losses with a dominate 82-30 win over the Trinity College Tigers this past Thursday, January 25, bringing their record to 15-3.
The Lady Crusaders took on the Regent Royals this past Thursday, January 18, and overcame an 11-point deficit to defeat the Royals 82-76. The Royals came out strong in the first quarter, which lead to them being up by ten early in the game. However, a three from Mary Pennefather (Freshman/Manassas, VA), helped Christendom close the gap, and the opening quarter ended with the Crusaders down 16-23
On January 12, Mary Pennefather helped lead Christendom to a decisive Conference win at Bucks County CC. She finished with 36 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 13 steals. On Saturday, Pennefather helped secured another Conference win over Central Penn, 77-59.
The Lady Crusader basketball team took on the Bucks County Community College Centurions at home on November 18, and, lead by an incredible quadruple-double by Mary Pennefather (Freshman/Manassas, VA), were victorious 84-18.
The Christendom Women’s Basketball team opens their season vs the Appalachian Bible College Warriors this Saturday, November 11th. The Crusaders are very excited for the season, looking to improve on a solid 2022-23 season that saw them ranked #9 with a 20-6 record and receive a bid to the national tournament.
Christendom’s women’s basketball team wrapped their historic 2022-23 season with a consolation win over #10 Central Penn in the USCAA National Championship Tournament this past Tuesday, March 14. The game, which followed a heartbreaking 74-69 loss to #8 Penn State Beaver in the first round of the Championship, was the team’s 20th win of the season — marking a single-season record for Christendom’s women’s basketball program.

Christendom Crusader Women’s Basketball traveled to Newport News, VA to compete in the New South Athletic Conference tournament on February 25th and 26th.
